It's a nice image in Lawson's now super-stripped down and simplified style, and a reminder that IDW really oughta hire that guy for his own Turtle comics.
Among these are not only a cover by Campbell, but also one from Eastman and one from the great Jim Lawson, who, between Mirage, Archie Comics and the newspaper strip, has drawn more panels of ninja turtles comics than anyone else alive. Speaking of which, the collected version, which comes with an introduction from director Robert Rodriguez, contains a gallery of 15 of the dozens of variant covers that accompanied the original, serially-published issues.

Granted, my saying that might be suspect, given my own nostalgia for the Mirage comics, so feel free to add a grain of salt to that statement if you like. Don't worry, folks! Lego Batman is here to save the day.This is probably the strongest ninja turtles comic originally produced for IDW. If you don't run around to all of the houses and collect some candy, the sweets will multiply and take over, so that we can't eat them anymore! It is your duty to protect your fellow citizens and trick or treat for all of the Snickers, Smarties, and Reese's Pieces your heroic bag can carry. Quick, Batman-your town needs you! This Halloween, hordes of candies are going to try to take over the neighborhood. The plastic mask has an elastic band to secure it, so your child can scowl at people, Batman style, all evening. Even the hands are foam! Your child may not have thumbs in this costume, but they can still hold their Halloween bucket in these foam claws! (Don't worry, the hands are detachable if your child wants to keep their thumbs.) The cape is detachable, making it easier for the wearer to climb into the suit. What makes this suit so spectacularly blocky is foam, foam, foam! Foam forms Batman's "pants" in this tunic, and the torso of the tunic is padded as well.

No wonder your kid adores him so much! Don't worry, though, this Lego won't murder your foot if you happen to step on it! The Lego Movie 2 Kids Batman Prestige Costume has all the sweet details of Batman's special look in the film. Spoiler: Batman is victorious because, well, he's Batman.
What is Batman going to do? Lego Movie 2 asks that question and answers it as the suspenseful but silly story careens to its conclusion. Uh oh, the Joker is at it again! He wants to destroy Gotham and take down Batman in one fell swoop.
